Ahmed AI Hashmi
Executive Director of TMBS, Environment Agency-Abu Dhabi

Ahmed Al Hashmi is the Executive Director of the Terrestrial and Marine Biodiversity (TMBS) sector at the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD), where he heads a team of scientists dedicated to both marine and terrestrial biodiversity

He currently leads on major pioneering environmental projects, such as establishing and operating the Middle East’s most advanced research vessel «Jaywun» as well as the Agency’s coral restoration programme. To date, the programme has succeeded in cultivating more than 800,000 coral colonies at four different locations in Abu Dhabi, as part of the Coral Reef Rehabilitation project – the largest of its kind in the region. The initiative is an ongoing effort to cultivate more than one million coral reef colonies to help increase their total area in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Chandrasekhar Panda
Partner, Riyadh, McKinsey and Company

Chandra leads the firm’s work in technology modernization, cost optimization, and value assurance in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa for McKinsey Digital. He brings a decade of diversified experience in innovation and technology-enabled transformations and driving the digital agenda of leading financial and public-sectors institutions across the region. He has a successful track record in managing technology transformations and has been instrumental in setting up new digital business ventures, improving clients’ technology ecosystems, and driving large-scale modernization programs.

Before joining McKinsey, he worked in different leadership roles at Capgemini, IBM, and Citigroup, and drove multiple engagements on various technology-related topics. He holds a masters in innovation strategy from Copenhagen Business School and a master’s in digital technology leadership from the Indian School of Business. Chandra also holds two patents on emerging payment systems and multiple industry certifications from the Open Group, IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon Web Services, VMware, SAP, Hewlett Packard, and more.

Dr. Rahma Beaugrand

Dr. Rahma Beaugrand is Vice President, Head of Customer Advisory for SAP Middle East South and Africa, and Sustainability leader for SAP Middle East south and Africa. Dr. Rahma Beaugrand was also Jury member of Dubai 10X Jury with Dubai Future Foundation and Member of valuation Committee for Energy Transition in the SDG Genova Finance Summit 2020 for Union Nations Development Program (UNPD).

Dr Rahma is also member of the National Advisory Council for Higher Education in UAE, part of the Ministry of Human Resources and Higer Education and Science. She is also member of Women in Data science Stanford University conference. She was nominated as one of the Women Arab leaders in Data Science in MENA in 2022. And she is in the winner list of Luminaries for 2024.

Dr. Rahma is a PhD in Finance and information systems from Paris Dauphine University and has an Executive Global MBA from London Business School and Columbia Business School in New York. She’s French- Tunisian national and speaks fluently Arabic, Italian, French and English.
